Using Mutiny Skills

Skills are codified instructions that guide how the Mutiny agent behaves across your workspace. Use them to put guardrails on the agent, enforce brand consistency, or standardize repeatable actions so every asset the agent generates stays on-brand.

Creating a skill

Head to the Skills section in your workspace to create a new skill. Give it a clear name and describe the behavior you want the agent to follow. This will open up a thread where you can work with the agent to create a new skill.

You can also create a new skill from an existing thread. If you’re building an asset or doing some work in Mutiny and you want the agent to be able to repeat a behavior in the future, you could just ask the agent to create a skill based on what was done in the thread.

Common uses for skills

Product messaging and voice

Create skills for how the agent talks about your product, your tone of voice, and your positioning. Anytime the agent writes an email or generates an asset, it will write in your voice and follow your product messaging guidelines.

Enforcing asset requirements

Skills can require the agent to include specific content in certain asset types. For example, you can create a skill that tells the agent to always add relevant case studies from your library when building a landing page for an account.

Template-specific skills

Attach skills to blueprints to shape how the agent handles a specific asset type. For a deal room blueprint, you can create a skill that has the agent ask the user clarifying questions before generating the asset, such as:

  • Who the deal room is for
  • Who the champion is
  • Any other context the agent needs to personalize the room

When a user creates a deal room from that blueprint, the agent will ask for these details upfront and use them to build the asset.
