Creating Popup Modals

Pop-up modals let you layer interactive content on top of your page without navigating visitors away. A common use case is embedding a demo request or sign-up form inside a modal so visitors can take action without losing their place on the page.

Create a Modal with the Agent

Modals are created through the agent. In the chat, describe the content you want inside the modal and the CTA or button that should open it. The agent sets up the modal, wires it to the trigger element, and fills in the content you asked for.

Editing the Modal

Once the agent has created the modal, click the button (or whichever element opens it) in the editor to reveal the modal. From there you can click any element inside it to edit manually, the same way you would with any other part of the page.

The agent also keeps context on the modal and its contents, so you can continue iterating through chat, for example asking it to swap copy, add a form, or restyle a section inside the modal.

Embedding a Form in a Modal

A common next step after creating a modal is adding an embedded form for a demo request or sign-up. The form behaves the same way inside a modal as it would anywhere else on the page: Add Forms to Mutiny Assets
