AutomateMutiny AutomationsOverview

Mutiny Automations

When you create your Mutiny account, four automations are turned on out of the box. They handle the work that normally eats up an hour around every meeting, so you can stay focused on actually selling:

  • Meeting prep: briefs for your upcoming calls, drafted before you walk in.
  • Follow-ups: same-day recaps after each meeting, with next steps and open gaps.
  • Email replies: ready-to-send drafts for customer threads that have an actual ask.
  • Check-ins: nudges and meeting invites when an account goes quiet or a promise comes due.

You can find all four under the Assistant dropdown in the left sidebar, under Automation.

Viewing the guidance

Each automation runs against guidance that lives in the Brain. To see what the agent is following, click into an automation card and select View guidance in Brain. If you want to adjust how the automation behaves, you can edit that guidance directly.

Permissions

Every out-of-the-box automation shares the same four permission controls:

  • Mutiny: auto-allowed. The agent can always use Mutiny itself.
  • Read connected apps: auto-allowed. The agent can read from any tool you have connected to pull context it needs.
  • Write to connected apps: your choice between:
    • Ask me first: the agent checks in before writing anything.
    • Allow without asking: the agent writes without pausing.
    • Don’t allow: the agent never writes to connected apps.
  • Mode: how the automation starts:
    • Review first: the agent waits for your go-ahead before planning.
    • Draft first: the agent gets started on its own.

Nothing is sent on your behalf without you unless the plan calls out that a decision should be made for you.

These permissions apply across all four automations, so you can set them once and know the agent will behave consistently whether it’s prepping a meeting or drafting a reply.
