Read data from Salesforce
Set up your integration to pull account and contact data from Salesforce to power your Mutiny assets and Account Studio lists. Here's how we use data from each object to enhance your assets.
Accounts object
The accounts object is your primary source for personalizing Mutiny assets. This account-level data enables you to create highly targeted experiences for each company in your asset pages.
Once integrated, Mutiny will use the account data you've mapped to:
- Pre-populate Account Studio (Account Studio Overview) lists with target accounts from Salesforce
- Dynamically insert account-specific data (company name, industry, size) into your assets
- Enable conditional personalization based on account attributes like industry vertical, company size, or custom fields
- Power AI-generated content that's tailored to each account's specific context
When mapping columns, ensure you map the Company Domain field to enable proper account matching and the Company Name field for personalization tokens.
Contacts and leads objects
These objects provide individual-level data that's essential for personalizing your asset and distribution tactics. Use contact data to:
- Create role-specific messaging that resonates with different stakeholders
- Track which specific individuals from target accounts engage with your assets
The email field is crucial here - it links individual visitors to their Salesforce records when they access personalized URLs or engage with sidepops.
When mapping columns, ensure you map the Email field to enable individual-level tracking and personalization.
Opportunities object
Leverage your opportunities data to create more sophisticated assets:
- Build assets targeting accounts at specific deal stages
- Create different assets experiences based on opportunity status
- Prioritize high-value opportunities with enhanced personalization
- Track how asset engagement influences opportunity progression
