If you've already set up your Salesforce integration, you can remap your columns in order to make sure you're bringing in the right data to Mutiny. Before continuing, make sure you've set up your Salesforce integration.
How to map your Salesforce fields
- Navigate to the Salesforce integration page by going to https://app.mutinyhq.com/integrations and clicking on the Salesforce integration card.
- For each object, you can map the columns you need by selecting the "Remap columns" button.
- On the left hand side, you'll see your Mutiny fields. Mutiny will automatically map a number of these for you. On the right hand side, you'll see the Salesforce field that it corresponds to. To change this field, select the dropdown of the field you'd like to update and select the appropriate Salesforce field.
- You can also add custom fields by selecting "Map another Salesforce column" at the bottom of the modal. You can then type what you'd like to call this field in Mutiny, and select the corresponding Salesforce field.
- Once you've set all of your mappings, select "Map Columns" at the bottom to finish.
FAQs
I have a field in Salesforce that I'm not able to see in Mutiny.
This is usually an issue with permissions. Mutiny will only pull in a field if we have the permission to read. To fix this issue, make sure that the user that you've set up the Mutiny integration with has access to read the field that you're trying to map. Learn more about Salesforce permissions here.
How long does it take for data from my mapped column to appear in Mutiny?
If you're integrated using the Salesforce streaming API, updates you make should happen in near real-time. If not, it could take up to 24 hours to ingest the data from your mapping. Learn more about the Salesforce integration here.
