Mutiny is the fastest, most flexible way to create personalized, on-brand assets across your entire go-to-market team. This guide will walk you through the main interface, templates, blueprints, and editor features to get you creating personalized experiences quickly.
Main Mutiny Interface
The Mutiny interface is organized into key navigation tabs where you'll spend most of your time. Account Studio is where you'll create target account lists and conduct additional AI research on your accounts. Assets is where you can view all the assets you've created in Mutiny.
Home - The first stop in Mutiny, where you can kick off asset creation. Prompt the creative agent to create a new asset, pick from an existing template, or utilize blueprints.
Account Studio - Account Studio is the central hub for managing your account data and creating targeted lists for your assets.
Assets - This is your central hub where all created assets live. Here you can edit existing assets, manage your assets, and view analytics on performance.
Templates - Save and access pre-made templates from your design team or reuse assets you've already created that performed well.
Library - Store and access resources you want to incorporate into your Mutiny assets, such as blog posts, PDFs, images, and other content from your existing website.
Brand - This is where Mutiny learns and applies your brand theme to all assets. Your brand settings form the foundation of your entire Mutiny setup, ensuring everything you create maintains a consistent look and feel.
Setting up your Brand
Navigate to the Brand section in Mutiny, located on the left navigation bar
On this page, click + Create Brand and enter a URL from your website. We recommend product and solution pages as they tend to pull the theme with the least amount of tweaking to be done from there.

Setting up your Library
The Library allows you to take advantage of your web-based assets from your website, things like case studies, blog posts, pdfs, product pages, press releases, newsletters, any of your top-used, most exciting assets that you want to put in front of your target accounts.
You can also upload images that you would like the creative agent to have access to when building assets.
When you create a brand, Mutiny will also scrape content from your site to fill your Library. The Agent will be able to use this content while creating Assets.
You can also manually add resources to the Library. From the Library page, click the Add Content button.
This will open an import modal where you can either paste the URLs of the resources you'd like to add or upload images. You can also add multiple URLs and images in one upload
Creating your Asset
With a brand imported, now it's time to create an asset! You can create new assets from the Home page or by clicking + Create asset on the Assets page. There are a few different methods for creating your asset:
- Use Templates - Select from existing templates to gather inspiration and speed up creation
- Use Blueprints - Blueprints are a way for you to create new assets that follow a specific structure or format.
- Start from Scratch - Describe exactly what you want the Agent to build in the prompt box, and the agent will build the asset for you
When creating an asset, you can enhance the Agent's work by adding resources such as design inspiration, screenshots, or messaging documents.
Understanding the Asset Editor Interface
The Creative Agent interface features five key tabs in the sidebar, each serving a specific purpose.
- Pages Tab - In this tab, you can connect a list of accounts to personalize your asset on an account-by-account basis. Note, this is only available on a paid plan.
- Chat tab - This is how you will interact with the agent, your AI-powered assistant for making design and personalization changes across your entire asset - simply prompt it as if you were talking to a teammate, and it will execute your requests.
- Design tab - gives you manual control over design elements like alignment, spacing, or custom CSS
- Insert tab - provides pre-built sections that inherit your global styles for easy drag-and-drop page building.
- Layers tab - Provides a structured view of your page's layout, helping you navigate and manage complex page structures.
If your asset utilizes a list and has account pages, then you will also have access to a Data tab. The Data tab houses all your target account information, and anything accessible here can be used in personalization. You can also run additional AI research from the Data tab, eliminating the need to switch between data and design contexts
Templates
Mutiny allows you to create and save templates that can be reused across multiple assets. You can either build templates from scratch or convert existing assets into templates for future use.
Creating Templates
Navigate to the Templates tab in the top-level navigation of your Mutiny instance
To create a new template from scratch, click Create template in the templates tab. The creative agent will launch, allowing you to build and edit your template. Save your template when finished for future use across assets.
Convert Existing Asset to a Template
To convert an existing asset into a template, open the asset to launch the editor. Click the three dots in the top right menu and select Save as template
The template will be added to your templates library and available for use in future Assets
Next Steps
After you've got your brand set up, added resources to your Library, and created some assets, you're ready to publish! From the asset editor, click Publish in the top right.
