The new HubSpot integration lets the Mutiny agent traverse your HubSpot and pull the relevant information for the GTM work you do in Mutiny. The legacy integration does not allow the Mutiny agent to do this. Switching over gives the agent direct access to your Salesforce so it can do more of your work.

How the legacy integration works

The legacy HubSpot integration pulls accounts and their details into Mutiny for use in Account Studio. The Mutiny agent has no way to see your HubSpot data through this integration, so it can't reference your HubSpot data when working on GTM tasks.

How the Pipedream integration works

The Pipedream HubSpot integration connects your HubSpot so the Mutiny agent can traverse it directly and find the information relevant to your work in Mutiny. This is what makes the agent able to work with your HubSpot data, rather than only importing accounts for Account Studio.

This integration is connected through Pipedream. You can learn more about Pipedream here: 📄 What is Pipedream?

Benefits of the Pipedream Salesforce Integration

Besides being able to find your relevant HubSpot data using natural language with the Mutiny agent, there are some other key improvements to note.

HubSpot API Usage Comparison

You can expect to see a lower HubSpot API usage with the new HubSpot Mutiny integration. The legacy integration ingested all updated mapped fields on a daily basis.

The new HubSpot integration only requests data from HubSpot when prompted by the user in Mutiny, meaning that each API call the Mutiny integration makes is more meaningful. Instead of syncing each day for data that may or may not be used in your assets.

Reduced integration maintenance

On the legacy HubSpot integration, you had to manually map over specific fields from your synced objects. If these fields changed, you would have to re-map these fields in Mutiny.

The new HubSpot integration will dynamically search and find the requested data prompted by the user in Mutiny. This means no more manually mapping fields in Mutiny, and the agent will find the data you are looking for, no matter the changes to the field properties in HubSpot.

Switching to the Pipedream integration

Connect the Pipedream HubSpot integration to give the agent access to your HubSpot. Once connected, the agent can pull relevant HubSpot information into the GTM work you do in Mutiny.
