What is Pipedream?
Last updated: May 15, 2026
Pipedream is the integration platform that powers Mutiny's connections to third-party tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, and others. When you connect an external account inside Mutiny, Pipedream handles the authentication and data flow behind the scenes so your credentials are never stored or exposed by Mutiny directly.
Why you might see Pipedream
During the account connection flow, you may see Pipedream's name appear on the authorization screen. This is expected. Pipedream is managing the secure handoff between your third-party account and Mutiny, which is standard practice for products built on top of integration infrastructure.

Your data is secure
Pipedream is trusted by over a million developers and is SOC 2 Type II certified. All credentials and tokens are encrypted in transit and at rest. Pipedream does not store API request payloads or response data when acting on behalf of connected accounts. You can review Pipedream's full privacy and security practices at Pipedream Privacy and Security.
You don't need a Pipedream account
You don't need to sign up for or manage a Pipedream account. The integration is handled entirely within Mutiny. Pipedream operates as infrastructure in the background, and all setup happens through Mutiny's interface.
