Creating an Asset
Last updated: April 5, 2026
This lesson walks through the three ways to create a new asset in Mutiny: starting from scratch, using a Blueprint, or using a Template.
Next Lesson:📄 Using the Editor
Starting From Scratch
From the Home tab, you'll see a prompt box where you can describe what you want to build. Include the type of asset, who it's for, what it should say, and the goal behind it. The more context you give, the better the output.
Before submitting, click the plus button in the prompt box to attach additional context like a design screenshot, messaging document, call transcript, or creative brief. You can also click the mic button to dictate your prompt instead of typing it. Everything you say gets transcribed and sent to the agent the same way a typed prompt would.
Using a Blueprint
Blueprints are Mutiny-created starting points that can serve as inspiration for asset creation. When you select a Blueprint, the Creative Agent will ask a few follow-up questions to tailor the asset to what you want to build.
Using a Template
Templates are full designs that your team has already built and saved. When you use a template, you start from that finished design and customize from there rather than building from the ground up. To use one, click the Templates filter during asset creation, browse the available options, preview one you like, and click Use Template to open it in the editor.
Meet the Creative Agent
Once you make your selection, the Creative Agent builds the asset based on your brand settings, Library content, and the instructions you provided. You'll watch it populate sections, write copy, and apply your brand styles in real time.
When it finishes, you land in the editor. The agent remains available as an ongoing collaborator for making changes, refining copy, personalizing sections, and more.
