Templates

Once you have built an asset that looks great, templates let you capture that design and reuse it so your team spends less time starting from scratch.

The Templates Page
Navigate to the Templates page in the left navigation bar. You will see two tabs: Active and Archived. Active shows templates available during asset creation. Archived store templates you have set aside to reduce clutter, but want to keep around in case you need them later.
Creating a Template From Scratch
Click the Create Template button on the Templates page. From here, you can start from an existing asset or build from scratch. If you start from scratch, the Creative Agent will launch, and you can build your template the same way you would build any asset. Use the Chat tab to prompt the agent, make manual adjustments in the Design tab, and add new sections by selecting a parent container and clicking the + button in the quick changes menu.
When you are happy with the design, click Save and Exit in the top right. Your template is now available in the templates library for anyone on your team to use.
Converting an Existing Asset
To convert an existing asset into a template, click the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the asset editor and select Save as Template. The template will appear in the Templates page, ready to use in future assets.
Editing Templates
To edit a template, go to the Templates page, open any active template, and select Edit Template. This launches the editor, where you can make changes just like you would with a regular asset. When the editor loads, you will see a notice confirming that you are editing a template and not an asset. When you are done, click Save and Exit, and those changes will be reflected the next time someone uses that template.
Using a Template to Create an Asset
From the Home tab, click the Templates filter to see all your active templates. Click any template to preview it, then click Use Template when you are ready. This opens a new asset pre-populated with the template's design and content. Any changes you make affect only this asset, not the original template.
Archiving Templates
If a template is no longer in regular use but you do not want to delete it permanently, you can archive it. Archived templates move to the Archived tab and will not appear during asset creation, but they are still recoverable if you need them later.
