What the Layers Tab Shows You

When you open the Layers tab, you will see your page sections laid out in a hierarchical list with collapsible menus. Think of it like a file explorer for your page. You can see which containers hold which elements and how everything is nested together. As you click through items in the list, the corresponding element gets highlighted on the canvas so you always know exactly what you are targeting.

Selecting Elements

On a complex page, clicking directly on the canvas does not always grab the element you want. The Layers tab removes that guesswork. Once you have selected an element through the Layers tab, you can switch to the Design tab to style it or open the Chat tab to ask the Creative Agent to make changes to that specific element.

Adding New Elements

When you select a container in the Layers tab, a plus icon will appear. Clicking it lets you add a child element directly into that container. This is especially helpful when working with nested containers where dragging and dropping onto the canvas can be tricky.

Moving Elements

You can click and drag items in the Layers tab to rearrange sections on your page. Moving a section from the bottom of the page to the top is much easier to do through the Layers tab than dragging it through the canvas, especially on longer pages. For complex sections where you need to move specific elements around, the Layers tab ensures you are targeting the right one.
