Events page

After you've set up your conversion events, you can view them on the events page. Before reading through this article, make sure you've first set up your events.

You can access the events page by going to https://app.mutinyhq.com/conversions or clicking on the "Events" tab in the left navigation bar.

Chart

Towards the top of the page, you'll see a chart noting your events over time. You can hover over a day to see specific numbers for events during each day.

Table

Below the chart, you'll see a table with more details about each event you're tracking.

Active/Inactive

The active/inactive toggle at the top allows you to filter to your currently active and inactive events. Only active events will be viewable in your experience analytics. If you're no longer using a event, you can set it to inactive by clicking the meatballs menu next to the event, and then clicking "Deactivate".

Name

The name column will display the name of your conversion. You can name conversion when you create them. For any custom events that are tracked, they'll always be named "Custom Event (event-name)". The event-name piece is dictated by whatever name you added to your code. For more information on custom events, click here

Category

You can select a category for your events. These categories will be used to guide recommendations while creating your experiences. For more information on creating an experience, click here.

The categories you can choose from are:

  • Asset/Newsletter signup
  • Free signup
  • Demo request
  • Paid signup/upgrade
  • Engagement
  • Event registration
  • Interactive demo

Converted visitors

This will tell you the total number of converted visitors since the event was created. This will not take into account any ignored visitors.

Type

This column will indicate the type of conversion you've set up. For more information on event types, click here.

Last conversion

This will indicate the last time this specific event was tracked. Depending on how often you expect certain events, you can use this column to check whether your events are still being tracked.

Created

This will indicate when the event was created.

Program goal

Mutiny surfaces recommended playbooks with projections of potential additional leads you can get if you launch certain experiences. By default, Mutiny will consider all your configured events as program goals to use for this projection. To stop generating recommendations that optimize for a certain conversion events, toggle off the switch in the Program Goal column.

Click on this menu to edit or deactivate a conversion.

FAQs

I set up a new conversion. How long until I can see the data populate on this page?

Conversions will typically show in a matter of minutes, but may take up to a few hours before they're viewable on this page. If you don't see a conversion come through that you're expecting, it may be the case that the conversion is set up incorrectly or the conversion was ignored.
